17th December – Christmas Cook-Out and get-together was excellent.

We had a great day on the 17th December, lots of people turned up, see our Facebook page to see some photo's.

We made soup and jacket potatoes on the open fire, everyone brought lots of food to share. Afterwards we were treated to excellent story telling by Daru. Later the children that had been doing their John Muir Awards, were presented with there certificates.

Before people left we asked them to comment on their experiences of BEES, this is what some people wrote…

“It was fun”.

“BEES and the gang are a breath of fresh air. Wonderful day.  Fab story and story-teller. That perfect mix of safe, free and fun!”

“Brilliant, beautiful day! Loved the storytelling!”

“I am so pleased we got involved with BEES. My son comes back full of ideas and enthusiasm every time!

“A great and wonderful setting for me to share my skills…”

“Brilliant outlet for a little boy with too much energy! For one!”

“A golden December afternoon full of wildness.”

“Great fun, well organised but relaxed atmosphere – good to chat round a camp fire!”
