BEES (Borders Environmental Education Services) is a social enterprise based in the Scottish Borders.

BEES is run by Pete Carthy, a qualified primary teacher and forest schools leader with 20 years’ experience in running conservation and community projects.

BEES works in partnership with leading conservation and education bodies, including:

• John Muir Trust
• National Trust
• Natural England
• Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
• Scottish Borders Council

BEES is a recognised award provider for the John Muir Award.
